Roku restricts its store to a short approved list, so IBO Player Pro is the one that works. It needs a code from your Roku screen entering on its website before anything loads. Roku hardware also tops out below 8K, so check the 8K channel list for which feeds it can carry.
Method 1
IBO Player Pro (Recommended)
- Step 1. Open the Roku Channel Store, search for "IBO Player Pro" and click "Add Channel".
- Step 2. Launch the app and go to the Account section. Note your MAC Address and Device Key shown on screen.
- Step 3. On your phone or PC, visit iboproapp.com, go to Manage Playlists, enter your MAC Address and Device Key, and click Login.
- Step 4. Select "Add XC Playlist".
- Step 5. Enter "Strong IPTV" as the playlist name. Fill in your Xtream Codes credentials (server, username, password) and click Submit.
- Step 6. Return to your Roku, restart the app, select Continue then Change Playlists and connect to Strong IPTV.
Note: The app has a 7-day free trial. After it expires, visit iboproapp.com, log in with your MAC Address and Device Key, and pay the one-time fee.
Method 2
Cast from Smartphone (Web Video Cast)
- 1. Install Web Video Cast on your Android or iOS device.
- 2. Open the app and tap the menu icon (top left) then select IPTV.
- 3. Tap the + icon next to "IPTV address" and paste your M3U URL.
- 4. Name your list "Strong IPTV" and exit the sidebar.
- 5. Tap the Cast icon (top right), scroll down, and select your Roku device. Tap Done.
- 6. Make sure both your phone and Roku are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- 7. Go to the IPTV menu, select your account, wait for the playlist to load, and tap Play.
Congratulations! You have completed the setup. Enjoy Strong IPTV on your Roku.
